The Florida Music Festival is an annual event usually spanning over four mind-blowing, music filled days and nights during spring. It’s a totally unique experience in live music, film, visual arts and the cultural community. 2007 will be the third year running for FMF.
The Florida Music Festival welcomes more than 250 performers from pop, country, urban, hip hop, alternative, heavy and acoustic formats as well as hundreds of filmmakers and dozens of visual artists. Take a chance and dive right in, whether you’re an aspiring artist or just want to indulge in a bit of the “good life”.
Past showcasing artists from all genres include Early November, Less Than Jake, Academy Is, Third Eye Blind, Everclear, Buckcherry, Lit, Radio, Between The Trees, Big10-4, David Melillo, and many more.
The FMF also has a Conference and Industry Panels which takes pride in bringing together top music business executives with the budding music artists and aspiring music entrepreneurs. After performing and being scouted at the FMF many artists have fulfilled their ultimate dream of recording a record label for some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Columbia, Atlantic, Epic, Lookout, and Vice, to mention but a few.
The daytime showcases are open to all ages whereas evening showcases are restricted to 18+, but some of the venues may choose to restrict up to 21+ if overcrowded. All participating FMF venues are within walking distance from one another as well as bars, restaurants and parking.
If you happen to be visiting in Orlando during the spring be sure to find out the dates and venues of this momentous event as you’ll be in for a real musical feast you wouldn’t want to miss.
