Many programmes require that participants should have the ability to swim unassisted but there are specific programmes catering for individuals with disabilities. Not to worry if you aren't the best swimmer as most dolphin swim programs insist on participants wearing floatation devices for your own safety.

Prices vary between locations but the average starting price is about $150 per day trip but best to do your homework upfront as you may stumble across a special offer depending on what time of the year you are visiting Orlando.

There are also two or three day adventure packages available (see showcases below) where you will be collected by your tour operator from your hotel and taken to your resort or hotel. The dolphin swim will usually proceed bright and early the following morning and throughout the remainder of the day.

Most packages are fully inclusive of transport (from hotel), accommodation, breakfast and dinner. Once again, it is worth your while to do some research to find the best price as it is very competitive.

Depending on which dolphin-swim adventure package and tour operator you select, you may be taken on a half-day expedition, en-route returning to your hotel, which may consist of shopping, sightseeing, theme parks or animal parks, to mention but a few.
